What are your top recommendations or 'must-visit' spots in Aurora for travelers looking to experience the essence of the city?

As foodies, our must-visit spot is Havana Street, which has the best Asian food!

Aurora is home to a thriving culinary scene. When dining out in Aurora, what are some of your favorite restaurants or eateries that you would recommend to visitors looking to experience the local cuisine?

Specifically, our favorites would be Seoul Kbbq & Hotpot, Leezakaya, and Snowl. Also, La Plaza del Sabor on Colfax has the most authentic Latino food trucks and stands.

Can you share your ideal day-trip itinerary for someone visiting Aurora for the first time? What are the must-see attractions and hidden gems you would recommend?

I would love to take someone visiting Aurora for an early morning visit to the Umi sculpture, followed by coffee and breakfast pastries at Banh & Butter cafe, and then an art showing or play at the People’s Building next door. Finally, I'd end the day at the Stanley Marketplace for dinner, drinks, and whatever fun event/activity they have going on!

Shopping is often a highlight of travel experiences. Where are some of your favorite spots to shop for unique, locally-made goods or one-of-a-kind finds in Aurora?

We love shopping small at Stanley Marketplace, especially when there are events like Earthmade, where tons of local vendors gather to sell unique handmade or natural goods.

Aurora is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes. Do you have a favorite outdoor activity or park in Aurora that you would recommend to travelers seeking outdoor adventures?

The Aurora Reservoir is perfect when you need a little nature getaway. We like to walk our dogs around the lake, lounge on the swim beach, and rent paddleboards.
