On my page, you’ll find family fun and lifestyle content as a family living in Colorado. I love sharing our experiences/adventures in hopes of helping others find new places to explore, whether that be food, a new event in town, or some of our favorite places!

What are your top recommendations or 'must-visit' spots in Aurora for travelers looking to experience the essence of the city?

One of the must-visit spots I would recommend for travelers would definitely be Aurora’s newly added art Sculpture, Umi, at the Aurora Highlands. If traveling with kiddos, I’d also recommend checking out Lava Island. It is the best indoor playground in Aurora!

Can you share your ideal day-trip itinerary for someone visiting Aurora for the first time? What are the must-see attractions and hidden gems you would recommend?

The first stop on our ideal day trip itinerary in Aurora would be Rosie's Diner for some delicious breakfast! Next would be a stroll through Nick's Garden Center, followed by a trip to east Aurora to see Umi at Hogan Park at the Aurora Highlands. From there, I'd travel to the Aurora Reservoir to soak up the sun. Next would be a short drive for some afternoon shopping at Southlands Mall. We'd end the day at Tasty Pot with amazing Taiwanese food and drinks!

Aurora is home to a thriving culinary scene. When dining out in Aurora, what are some of your favorite restaurants or eateries that you would recommend to visitors looking to experience the local cuisine?

This one is very hard! I love how diverse Aurora is and all the different cultures that make Aurora's culinary scene nothing short of amazing. A few of my absolute favorites in Aurora are Tasty Pot, Star of India, and Sushi Katsu.

Shopping is often a highlight of travel experiences. Where are some of your favorite spots to shop for unique, locally-made goods or one-of-a-kind finds in Aurora?

Stanley Marketplace is the perfect spot for all the one-of-a-kind finds in Aurora! I love all of the unique options you can find there.

Aurora is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes. Do you have a favorite outdoor activity or park in Aurora that you would recommend to travelers seeking outdoor adventures?

We love spending a lot of our time at our local parks here in Aurora, especially Great Plains Park when the splash pad is open during the summer! Another favorite place to be during the summertime is the Aurora Reservoir. We love taking in all the summer sun splashing away at the local beach, as we like to call it!
