What are your top recommendations or 'must-visit' spots in Aurora for travelers looking to experience the essence of the city?

A must-visit for me is definitely the Stanley Marketplace. It's a great segue into great culinary eats and a hub for amazing small businesses. The Havana District also has such a rich culture, from food to shops; it's also a must-visit

Can you share your ideal day-trip itinerary for someone visiting Aurora for the first time? What are the must-see attractions and hidden gems you would recommend?

An ideal day trip, in my opinion, would consist of going to the Town Center at Aurora for a bit of shopping. Next, work up an appetite to explore Expo Park or a round of golf at one of the many courses in Aurora. Lastly, finish the day with dinner at one of the diverse restaurants in the Havana District.

Aurora is home to a thriving culinary scene. When dining out in Aurora, what are some of your favorite restaurants or eateries that you would recommend to visitors looking to experience the local cuisine?

Some of my favorite eateries in Aurora are TK’s Surf and Turf and Create Kitchen School. They have a wonderful cocktail program, Annette Scratch Table, Ten Second Noodles, and Sushi Katsu, to name a few.

Shopping is often a highlight of travel experiences. Where are some of your favorite spots to shop for unique, locally-made goods or one-of-a-kind finds in Aurora?

Some of my favorite places to shop would be Dick’s Sporting Goods, supporting small businesses inside the Stanley Marketplace, and the Town Center at Aurora. 

Aurora is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes. Do you have a favorite outdoor activity or park in Aurora that you would recommend to travelers seeking outdoor adventures?

I’ve been consumed with golf lately, so I enjoy visiting the Springhill Golf Course, and when the weather is nice, I enjoy going to the Aurora Reservoir.
