I am a food content creator in Colorado. While I cover food from my travels, most of my postings cover Denver and Colorado Springs. I like to show primarily local businesses and their popular items.

What are your top recommendations or 'must-visit' spots in Aurora for travelers looking to experience the essence of the city?

I think everyone should visit the Gaylord Rockies at least once. There is usually something fun going on there. Another place I enjoy is Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. A third place during the summertime would be the Cherry Creek Reservoir. Great if you want accessible water sports or walking trails.

Can you share your ideal day-trip itinerary for someone visiting Aurora for the first time? What are the must-see attractions and hidden gems you would recommend?

If I spent a day being a tourist in Aurora, here’s what I would do! I’d start the day at Cuba Bakery and grab delicious pastries. Then, I’d head to Stanley Marketplace for boutiques and shopping and crafty shops. Follow that up with delicious eats from one of the many restaurants located inside. Next, I’d have to spend some time outside at their playground for my little ones. Finish the day with dinner at one of the many restaurants on Havana Street, followed by a stay at The Benson Hotel.

Aurora is home to a thriving culinary scene. When dining out in Aurora, what are some of your favorite restaurants or eateries that you would recommend to visitors looking to experience the local cuisine?

Coming from a Korean background, I always seek tasty Korean spots. One of my favorites is Tofu Story. You must get the spicy raw marinated crab & the galbi jjim! Leezakaya is a must for sushi and uni pasta. Another favorite of mine is Banh & Butter Bakery Cafe. They have delicious Banh mi and pastries!

Shopping is often a highlight of travel experiences. Where are some of your favorite spots to shop for unique, locally-made goods or one-of-a-kind finds in Aurora?

I love the shops located inside of Stanley Marketplace. You can find some fun and unique pieces and home decor. They have a great variety, from plants to clothing and accessories.

Aurora is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes. Do you have a favorite outdoor activity or park in Aurora that you would recommend to travelers seeking outdoor adventures?

12 Mile Stables is a great place to visit if you love horses. Another fun outdoor activity is renting electric bikes and riding on the Aurora Reservoir's 8-mile trail.
