Celebrate Colorado is a statewide celebration coordinated by the Governor’s Office where Coloradans can explore and experience free and discounted activities across the state! Celebrate with us in Aurora from July 26th - August 4th, 2024!

Taste of Genetics

This unusual flavor perception is due to genetic variations in a particular smell receptor gene, which influences how cilantro's aroma and taste are experienced. In her 45-minute presentation, Dr. Cole will explain the fundamentals of genetics, how these genetic differences affect taste, and what it means to have a higher genetic risk for common conditions such as diabetes and heart disease. August History Hike: Coyotes
