Learn about the beginnings of our town and Aurora's early days on the anniversary of our founding. Did you know that Aurora hasn’t always been called Aurora? When it was founded on April 30, 1891, the town straddling Colfax Avenue was named Fletcher. Learn what changed and why in this presentation about the founding and early years of our city to celebrate Aurora’s 133rd Birthday.
