October History Hike: Aurora Water
Come to the Aurora Reservoir to learn about the journey water takes to come out of your tap!
Cohosted by the city's Water Department, walk around the reservoir and learn about Aurora's history with water. If you do not have an Aurora Reservoir Pass, there is a $10 entry fee per vehicle. Please plan accordingly and carpool to reduce costs. The $10 can be paid upon entry to the reservoir.
The content for this hike is written for adults, but children 13 and older are welcome to join.
Please wear closed-toed shoes for walking outdoors and on trails, appropriate layers for the weather, and bring water. This hike will be approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and approximately 2 miles. The hike will be beginner in difficulty, and we plan to move at a steady pace with some stopping.
