Superstition and Mythology of Aurora Owls

The Greek goddess Athena associates owls with protection while the Hopi see burrowing owls as the god of death. Learn about the owls native to Aurora and some of the mythology historically associated with them. We will be dissecting owl pellets, followed by a wagon ride to find owls!
