‘She’, the saree has draped most of our mothers ( South Asians) our grandmothers and all the mothers that came before them.
She knows a woman’s soul, for she’s been around her for a very long time.
She has clothed her in the warm, comforting folds. She has made her look sensuous, aware of her sexuality.
She’s given the woman her identity, and strength to take on the world.
So this September 8th, we are paying a special tribute to our 9 yards (nowadays 6 yards) and telling and sharing each of our Saree Stories! Please join us for this special celebration of womanhood, Nepali Saree culture and the history at its best! 🙏🙏
